Pennsylvania Place Retirement Community is pleased to welcome Cindy Hewitt, RN, as our Director of Nursing.  Along with being a Registered Nurse, Cindy is also a Paramedic and Firefighter.  Most recently, Cindy was responsible for the daily nursing staff operations during COVID-19 for Wapello County Public Health and prior to that served as the EMS Director for Ottumwa Regional Health Center.  In addition, Cindy’s nursing career has included being the EMS Program Director at IHCC; all the while being heavily involved with ORMICS and the Agency Fire & Rescue Dept.      We are so EXCITED to welcome Cindy to our Penn Place Family!
